The Escape the Cape Triathlon & Open Water Classic will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at the Cape May–Lewes Ferry Terminal (1200 Lincoln Blvd., Lower Township/Cape May). Athletes will board a ferry at dawn, sail into the Delaware Bay, and make the signature jump to start the swim before continuing onto bike and run courses along the Cape. The day’s schedule includes parking opening at 4:45 a.m., transition opening at 5:45 a.m., ferry departure at 6:00 a.m., the iconic jump around 6:45 a.m., the Open Water Classic at 7:15 a.m., awards for the OWS at 9:00 a.m., and triathlon awards at 10:45 a.m. Spectator information, course maps, and athlete guides are available on the event website.
